I'm trying to submit a trade,and it's like the button is opace,and it clicks either pending trade or complete trades,there is no middle where I can only click submit trade.Ive trade to mess around with screen size and it changes nothing

If the AI likes the trade, the complete trade button will show up and it’ll be done. If they’re on the fence you can submit and wait a few days for them to (usually) reject it. If neither show up, they don’t like the offer.

Why does my game crash when I click on the trade tab?

Currently playing as the Mongol Empire, though I don't think that's relevant as it happens no matter what nation I'm playing. It only happens during late game, but apart from that I haven't noticed any other patterns as it doesn't happen every time. Have had a look on reddit but haven't seen any posts about it within the last year and a half. Is there anything I can do to stop it?
Top Comment: There has been at least one post on reddit and one bugreport . But it seems to be isolated to a few users and for one user it helped to downgrade the eu4 version and then return to the current version. This suggests that the problem might be a broken installation or an incompatible mod. Try to disable all mods(if you think that you have no mods, look in the playset section of the launcher to make sure, because they might have been installed and activated without your knowledge) and if that doesn't help, try to verify the integrity of game files and if that doesn't help, you can try a clean reinstall as described in my post about common startup problems with version 1.29 . If the above doesn't help, how often does the game crash when opening the trade tab? Does it crash every time you open it in some saves or more like every 10th or every 100th time? If you have a save in which it crashes relatively reliably, you could attach it to the bugreport

Keeping losers small and getting out too early / listening to my stop 100% of the time. Doesn’t matter how well of a trader you are, if you take 1-3 bad losses in a month, it will take you back to square one or red entirely.
